| In this sample application of the WL2400 LAN Product family and the AMP2440 Spread Spectrum 2.4 GHz Amplifier, the Model AP2400 Access Point is used to relay data at over-the-air rates of 2 Mbps from one Model WL2400-ISA at the base site to the Model WL2400-ISA card at the remote site. The two Access Points at the Repeater site are connected by an Ethernet cable: in this sample diagram, the PCs at either end also contain Ethernet cards, showing that two Local Area Networks can be connected using this configuration. The AMP2440s extend the ranges of the WL2400 products by MILES, not feet; therefore it is possible to connect LANs that are over 20 miles away from each other.
