EX-1 Ethernet Extender

Description

The EX-1 digital microwave radio provides cost-effective, high data rate, wireless interconnectivity. Operating in the newly regulated Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure frequency spectrum (U-NII), the EX-1 Ethernet Extender provides 8 user selectable frequency channels and 16 Mbps aggregate capacity for path distances up to 7 miles in the U.S.A. and up to 19 km internationally.

The EX-1 provides half and full-duplex operation in the 5.3/5.7 GHz frequency bands in accordance with the FCC Rules part 15.407. The EX-1 requires no special tuning or adjustments at the site, just install, align and connect to the existing LAN infrastructure via the 10Base-T interface and the unit is up and passing data. This product is ideal for providing a high speed wireless backbone to Wireless Internet POPs (WIPOP). The system is FCC Certified for license-free operation with 6 inch, 12 inch and 24 inch flat panels as well as 2 foot solid dish antennas.
