Description: LP-1 The Model LP-1 is specially designed to protect your delicate Spread Spectrum, WCS or MMDS radio, Wireless LAN cards or Wireless Access Points from lightning strikes on or near your outdoor antenna. It is optimized for maximum protection and minimum insertion loss in the 900 MHz and 2.1 to 2.7 GHz bands. It uses the YDI DirectGround TM technology which features direct electrical connection to ground: no MOVs, TVSs, spark gaps or gas discharge tubes. It has no "turn on time" and protects from static buildup as well as lightning strikes. Built-in series capacitor blocks DC from the radio to the antenna.   Antenna Features The strong die-cast aluminum case is ideal for professional installation at non-amp'ed customer sites.   Provides maximum lightning protection from antenna lightning strikes or near strikes.   Works with all Spread Spectrum radios in the 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz band.  No turn-on time with the YDI DirectGround TM technology.   Multi-strike capability.   N-female connectors with silver shell and gold plated center pin.   Minimal insertion loss.   Low strike throughput energy.   Die-cast aluminum housing.
